WIRELESS ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHY

Abstract:	Proper monitoring of heart is very important for the people suffering from cardiac diseases. The electrical activity produce by the heart can be monitored through cardiac monitoring. This document represents the development of wireless and low cost ECG monitoring system. Number of electrodes are connected to the body and the ECG is wirelessly transmitted through Bluetooth technology and observe on an Android app. This device is able to display ECG signal and measures any abnormality if present in ECG and inform to the patient�s doctor. The ECG monitoring used in hospitals is high cost and high power consuming devices. The scope of this project is to produce a low cost, low power ECG monitoring system. Such portable device can be used without going to hospital.
