Rules and Regulations

• MSc supervisor with less than three year experience can supervise two projects and co-supervise four projects at most.
• MSc supervisor with more than three year experience can supervise three projects and co-supervise four projects at most.
• Phd supervisor can supervise four projects and co-supervise four projects at most.
• There can be three or four students in a group.
• There should be at least one student with CGPA above 3.00 in a group.
• There should be at least one student with CGPA below 3.00 in a group.
• All the documentation of final year project should be done in Latex.
• There will be at least two presentation other than exhibition and industrial open house and will be announced once scheduled
• Incomplete project webpage will affect the final grade.
• For any problem in the development of webpage contact final year project coordinator well before the deadline, otherwise no excuse will be accepted.
• Strictly follow the templates provided on the FYP website.
• Final report must be well written and thoroughly read and approved by supervisor.
• Plagiarism allowed level is 19% in documentation, failure to fulfill these conditions will result in drop of FYP project.
• FYP committee has the authority to revise the rules as per situation without any prior notice.
• Hardware/software should be self-designed and implemented, if found copied will be highly penalized.
• All the components of the FYP will be the ownership of the Department.
• Do not wait for the last minute of deadlines, always complete the tasks as soon as possible.
• All the registration and submission system is online and follow the sharp deadlines, becareful !!!
