DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF DHU OF MICROSATELLITE

Abstract:	SUPARCO, the space agency of Pakistan started student satellite project PNSPP-1 (Pakistan national student satellite phase 1) for which we have designed Command and Data Handling Subsystem. We must continue with design provided by our seniors. It has only one unit that is known as Data handling unit. It is the brain of satellite. It is responsible for on board communication management. It manages space craft power on and power shut down sequence. It acquires telemetries from all the subsystems, processes it for detection of faults and executes tele-commands based on its analysis. It also sends data to ground station through RF communication chain
